Hello Everyone, I got this recipe from a friend of mine. I think I've made cookies with this like 4 times in the last month because they just come out so good! Nathan says, (while munching on the dough), "Mmmm, how do you get it so pillowy?" And that's what happens, the dough comes out fluffy and light and the cookies, are amazing... I use a hand mixer and I think that's why they come out so good, it calls for a lot of creaming and mixing.
Kodi's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cream Well:
1 lb. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
Add:
3 eggs
2 T vanilla
Cream for 4 minutes
Add:
6 c. flour
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 T. soda
Blend slowly and thoroughly (I still use hand mixer to blend in the flour)
Add: 2 c. chocolate chips (or more or less, I eyeball it)
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes (I would recommend no more than 8 minutes)
